Every company is unique in the way they hire, and if you're like most career hunters, you will have questions. Here’s a list of our most asked questions to make it easier for you to navigate the Tekion process.
Certain roles require previous automotive experience, but there are plenty that do not. Job descriptions listed will designate special requirements.
After you apply, our Talent Acquisition (TA) team will review your application. If it’s a match, you will have an initial conversation with one of our TA Partners, who will dive deeper into your experience, walk you through the specific interview process for your role, and answer any questions you might have.<xs><xs>Depending on the role, the next steps usually include several rounds of interviews. Your first round will typically be a Microsoft Teams video call with the hiring manager. After that, you may join additional virtual or on-site interviews with future teammates and other stakeholders.<xs><xs>For some positions, there will be an assessment, presentation, or coding test. We’ll let you know in advance and make sure you have everything you need to prepare.<xs><xs>If you’re applying in India (Bangalore or Chennai), all final interviews are conducted onsite so you can get a feel for our workplace and culture.<xs><xs>Your TA Partner/Coordinator will keep you updated throughout the process. Timelines can vary depending on the role and location, but we’re committed to making the experience as smooth and transparent as possible for you.
We recommend candidates only apply for one role at a time. If you apply for multiple roles, our Talent Acquisition team will move your application to the best role they see fit after your first phone interview.
At Tekion, our dress code is “business casual” for both on site and remote employees. We recommend you wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident, while keeping our business casual dress code in mind. Most importantly, be yourself—we’re excited to meet you!

At Tekion, we have an in-person work culture because we believe that face-to-face collaboration is essential to how we build, innovate, and operate as One Team. However, we do have some fully remote opportunities in the US, Canada, and EMEA. In India, all of our positions are onsite at our Bangalore or Chennai offices and we offer “flex days” to work from home on occasion, subject to manager approval. If flexibility is important to you, we encourage you to confirm the onsite expectation with the hiring manager or look for roles marked as remote or hybrid!
Roles designated as “in-office” are expected to work from the office Monday through Friday during normal business hours. This standard ensures strong collaboration, quicker decision-making, and better cross-functional visibility. Flex days are available and allow in-office employees to request to work from home occasionally on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays for personal needs and must be approved in advance by their manager.
